How do you see the United States? Not the version in the news, and not what tourists photograph in Times Square. The America where you actually live. The way you see it — with Hungarian roots and an American reality.

America is about to turn 250. Big number, right? But history does not only live in books. It is happening right now, outside your window. Perspektíva 250 invites you to become the storyteller. Don't just consume content — create your own.

This is not another Instagram challenge that disappears tomorrow. It is a serious visual time capsule, and we want you to be part of it.

Why Flickr? (Yes, seriously!)

We know Instagram and TikTok are built for speed. But let's be honest: quality gets lost there. Compressed pixels, 24-hour stories, battles with the algorithm.

We are going back to a platform built for photographers: Flickr.

No compression: your images stay crisp and detailed.

A professional portfolio: think of it as a virtual exhibition space you can later include in your CV or use in art applications.

Community, not just likes: you do not only get hearts. You can receive real feedback on technique, composition and the way you see.

What do you get when you join?

We do not disappear after you upload your photographs. VIPACH — Vienna Photo Art & Creative Hub — and its founder, photographer Norbert Bánhalmi, provide professional guidance.

Monthly Online Mentoring: once a month we meet on Zoom. We dissect images, learn new techniques — street photography, light, the psychology of colour — and talk about whatever is inspiring us at the time.

Spring Break in New York: in spring we step out of the online world. During a two-day workshop, we take on NYC together. Urban jungle, street photography, evening light in Brooklyn — all with professional guidance.

Community: other young Hungarians who understand what it feels like to live between two cultures.

Create — or dust off — a Flickr account.

Send a short email to: 📧 office@vipach.at

In the message, write that: you would like to join the “Perspektíva 250” project.

And most importantly, include the email address connected to your Flickr account so we can add you to the group.

Once you receive the invitation, this will be our base:
