I will never forget it.

One evening I was waiting for the metro and looked along the platform at the people around me.

My eyes stopped on two young men standing opposite each other, talking and laughing.

Then one of them gently ran his hand along the other's arm.

That single movement contained everything.

Restrained, yet powerful.

A quiet declaration.

They were considerate of the people around them and revealed only enough for us to sense what was obvious to them:

They were in possession of something honest and real — love.

How can you express that in photographs?

The studio was completely dark.

Only a small amount of mysterious light traced the lines of our naked bodies.

We stood facing one another.

In any other situation that would be simple.

But now I felt embarrassed.

The familiar environment and familiar faces were not enough.

I had no routine for this.

I knew the woman standing opposite me, but the situation itself was completely new.

We embraced.

Our naked bodies slowly touched and then moved fully together.

I wanted to surrender to the moment, but I could not do it completely.

Thoughts kept circling in my head.

What happens next?

How should I touch her?

What is she thinking?

Who is leading?

Then she gently ran her hand down my arm and slowly across my back.

The thoughts disappeared.

My senses took over.

Beside the quiet music I could hear every breath Anita took.

With her body pressed to mine, I could feel her heart beating quickly.

Her hand moved slowly upward along my back, reached my neck and slipped into my hair.

It was exciting.

I ran my hand along her skin.

My lips opened softly and my breathing became deeper.

I wanted to absorb every sensation.

The outside world disappeared.

There were only the two of us.
